What you will master

1

Makharij

The exact place each letter comes from, so similar letters never blur again.

2

Noon & Meem rules

Izhar, idgham, iqlab and ikhfa — applied in your recitation, not just memorised as theory.

3

Madd

The lengths of elongation, measured and consistent.

4

Waqf

Where to stop and start so the meaning is honoured.

How the lessons work

Every lesson is recitation-first: you read to the teacher, who stops you at the exact letter, shows you the rule, and has you repeat until it is right. Rules are taught inside the verses you are reading, and your monthly progress report tracks which rules you have mastered. Children usually reach Tajweed after the Qaida and reading stages; adults who already read can start Tajweed directly.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to read Arabic before starting Tajweed?

You need basic reading. If you cannot read yet, start with our Noorani Qaida lessons first — the teacher will tell you honestly in the trial where to begin.

I can read but my pronunciation is weak. Is this for me?

Exactly — most Tajweed students can read; the lessons rebuild the sounds from their correct places.

How are mistakes corrected online?

Live, sound by sound: the teacher hears every letter over Zoom, stops you at the exact point, explains the rule and repeats it with you until it is correct.

How long does it take to learn Tajweed?

It depends on your current recitation and practice; you get an honest estimate after the trial assessment.

Do children take Tajweed too?

Yes — after the Qaida and reading stages, children move into Tajweed rules step by step.
